Taking care of Puma, Jaguars, Monkeys and other animals in the Jungle

The community of Inti Wara Yassi owns three park areas in Bolivian jungle. They take care of mistreated animals such as Pumas, Jaguars, Ocelotes, Monkeys, Birds, etc.

You will be given an animal to take care of. Feeding, excercising, playing, etc.

It is a really unique experience!

Mission

EntreMundos is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) which supports and helps local community NGOs in Guatemala increase their capacities while respecting their principles and values. EntreMundos is an intermediary which facilitates and connects organisations and volunteers, both national and international, with the objective of maximising the impact of each organisation.

Taking care of giant sea turtles

In Playa Marlena (Panama) you can volunteer for free with the community. You will take care of the turtles when nesting, later remove the eggs and bringing them to a safe area. Month later you will safeguard the small turtles until they swimm of in the ocean.

Quetzaltrekkers is a non profit organisation in Nicaragua and Guatemala. They are always looking for people to come and support the team! They have a minimum of three month commitment with the organization, but many people stay for longer.

You will become a guide leading and helping with trekking, going climbing, doing everything to keep traveling tourists happy so they book their tours through Quetzaltrekkers as all money will go to a local school for the education of children.
